    Modesto’s oldest community theater company and a Resident Company of the Gallo Center for the Arts presents a traditional, period staging of this holiday classic. In A Christmas Carol, based on the novella by Charles Dickens, sour and stingy Ebenezer Scrooge’s ideological, ethical, and emotional transformation takes place after the supernatural visits of Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future.

    Let’s get Hip to the Holidays, as Under the Streetlamp celebrates with a joyous performance of your favorite holiday tunes plus songs from the American Radio Songbook. Oh what fun it is to dance in the aisles while merrily singing along to songs from their live PBS Specials and studio album, Every Day’s a Holiday. Featuring former leading cast members of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical “Jersey Boys,” Under The Streetlamp is a concert celebration of classic hits of the American radio songbook from the 1950’s – 1970’s. You’ll hear Doo-Wop, Motown, and old-time Rock ‘n’ Roll, including popular songs from The Drifters, Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys, and more, along with a show-stopping salute to Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. Rockin’ your favorite tunes from their studio album, Every Day’s a Holiday featuring "I'll be Home for Christmas," "Santa Bring My Baby Back," "Run Run Rudolph," "Avé Maria" and many more!
