Susana Alcala Wood, City Attorney
Susana Alcala Wood was appointed as the City of Modesto City Attorney in June 2006. Prior to coming to Modesto, Susana
was a Supervising Deputy City Attorney with the City of Sacramento’s City Attorney’s Office for five years and prior to that
she was a Deputy City Attorney with the City of Stockton for more than eight years. Susana received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her law degree from Whittier College, School of Law.
