COUNCIL COMMENTS & REPORTS

Councilmember Lopez spoke regarding the future of the Fourth of July Parade in Modesto. He announced the Guns & Hoses Basketball Game to be held on June 6, 2009 between the Modesto Police and Fire Departments and monies will be donated to the Jaycees for the Fourth of July Parade.

• Resolution approving declaring its intention to consider the applications, giving notice of the hearing on the applications, and directing the City Clerk to publish the notice, all in accordance with Modesto Municipal Code Section 11-2.05 recommended.
