Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is responsible for formulating recommendations regarding the orderly development of the community as it relates to zoning and land use. This commission reviews and recommends amendments to the Modesto General Plan, Zoning and Modesto Municipal Codes, the Capital Improvement Program, and subdivisions and neighborhood development plans.
