status report of development projects processed by the Community and Economic
Development Department.

2. Consider recommending that City Council conduct a public hearing and consider
approval of the Draft Final Noise Compatibility Program and supporting
documentation for the Modesto City-County Airport Part 150 Noise Compatibility
Study (Funding Source: Not applicable)

that City Council conduct a public

NEW BUSINESS
4. Consider accepting the 2009 Urban Growth
Review Update regarding the inventory of residential, commercial and industrial
land uses, projections, and targets, and provide direction to staff. (Funding
Source: Not Applicable)

ACTION: The Committee reviewed the 2009 Urban
Growth Review Update, gave direction to staff to revise maps to include city
limits and sphere of influence information. The Committee will meet again on
February 9, 2009, to discuss the Review of Inventory and Absorption Analysis.
Community and Economic Development staff to
tentatively reserve two weeks out after each upcoming workshop, if necessary:
February 9, 2009 – Inventory and Land
Absorption Analysis; Infrastructure
March 9, 2009 – Discuss Possible Ballot M Proposal
April 9, 2009 – Review Draft Urban Growth Review Update Report
