Mayor's Top Teens

Brianna Plummer

Grade: 12th
School: Enochs

Now a Senior at Enochs High School, Brianna has held the position of Vice President of the Black Student Union for the last three years. After experiencing a change in her family dynamic, Brianna continues to maintain excellent community involvement by volunteering for various community service events, including as a chef for various church events. Brianna is not only a violinist, she is a former member of her high school basketball team, and a volunteer in organizing the Chamber of Commerce Archive.

Brianna is an example of a young heart that has had to deal with the loss of a family matriarch, her great grandfather; a constant figure in her life with tremendous influence. Notwithstanding the absence of her great grandfather, Brianna continues to make others proud of her accomplishments.

As a result of her student involvement, community service, participation in extracurricular activities, all while continuously maintaining over a 3.0 grade point average, Brianna’s hard work, attention to detail, astonishing level of responsibility, and enjoyment in helping others, is what makes her a vivid role model and a shining example of why the Mayor’s Top Teens program exists.
