In the City of Modesto it is
required for all business owners both home and commercial to hold
business licenses. There are three types of business licenses that

- Read the information thoroughly?
- Fill out the application(s) completely?
(Please be sure that the business start date and owner information
is filled in.)
- Sign the Business License Application?
- Sign both pages of the Home Business Permit and
Agreement (if the business is conducted from the residential
location)?
- Enclose the appropriate fee?

Please note, we cannot process incomplete applications or
applications returned with incorrect fees.
