The Training Division of the Human Resources Department is designed to support the training needs of the City.
With the creation of the University of Modesto program, training classes are broken up into three series
of classes to include general, mandatory, and computer training which are available to employees at all
levels in the organization.
A separate part of the University of Modesto is specific to succession planning and is in fact a component
of succession planning. Three levels of training have been established. These levels provide training at
the supervisor, management and senior management level. Please refer to the attached draft succession
Note; the succession planning program is currently in the development phase and therefore must be noted that
some of the programs listed will evolve and change as the program is finalized.
