The Clown Trailer was donated by the North Modesto Kiwanis Club. The department uses the trailer to house
props and gear for the Modesto Fire Department Clowns. The program is a long established one that visits
elementary schools every year delivering the message of fire and home safety. The clown program, staged by an
all-firefighter crew, performs at twenty-two schools a year in front of an estimated 10,000 students.
