FELONY ASSAULT

Modesto Police are investigating an assault that occurred on Sunday, 10-11-09 between 09:00 & 11:00 PM. A 50 year old white male was beaten and his 2001 white Chevrolet pickup was stolen in the area of 2nd and "H" Sts in Modesto. The male was left unconscious and bleeding in front of 830 2nd St. The white 2001 Chevrolet pickup was located by the Ceres Police in the area of South 9th St on Monday, 10-12-09. The victim's small black and white dog that was in the vehicle is missing. The male was admitted to the hospital with severe head injuries. DIESEL (shown left) is still missing.
