The Investigative Services Division (ISD) is full of
dedicated men and women who truly care about their community.
The professionals assigned to this division play a vital role
in its success in one of three areas: Investigations, Special
Operations, and the Stanislaus County Drug Enforcement Agency.
While budget restrictions in 2007 have led to a decrease in
staffing, the Investigative Services Division (ISD) has worked
through these difficulties, continuing to offer its best to the
citizens of our community.

Task Special Operations consists of the Street Crimes Unit, Modesto
Narcotics Enforcement Team, Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force
(STANCATT) and the Central Valley Gang Intelligence Task Force, a
multi-agency task force formed to help track and convict gang members
in the Stanislaus County Area. These units work closely with
Investigations since many perpetrators involved in the drug and gang
communities are also connected to property crimes, crimes against
persons, and economic crimes. The Stanislaus County Drug Enforcement
Agency is also a multi-agency force, focusing on large drug dealers
in Stanislaus County. |
