Police Investigate Southwest Modesto Shooting

MODESTO, CA – On Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at approximately 1:05 a.m., officers were dispatched to investigate the report of a shooting at a residence in the 800 block of Crippen Ave.

When officers arrived they located a 24-year old male inside the garage, who had been shot at least once. Officers and emergency medical personnel began C.P.R. and the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.

A second, 29-year old male, gunshot wound victim was located inside the residence. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Approximately 2 minutes later a 911 call was received from the 800 block of Bristlecone Way reporting a third gunshot victim. The victim, a 20-year old male, was suffering from a non-life threatening injury. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The 20-year old reported being at the Crippen Ave. residence when he was shot.
