The owners of two local businesses donated $5,000 each to the Modesto area Crime Stoppers program. A press conference occurred this morning at 9:30 am.
The Modesto area Crime Stoppers has been a highly successful program and is credited for the arrest of over 170 people to date. The program allows people to remain anonymous and receive cash rewards when providing tips about suspects wanted in a wide array of criminal incidents including murders, rapes, and robberies.
