POLICE TO HOST BUSINESS ACADEMY CLASS

Modesto, CA - The Modesto Police Department is offering a Business Academy class from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on Thursday, November 5^th, at the Modesto Police Department, 600 10th Street. A complimentary lunch will be provided.

This training is offered to small businesses, financial institutions, and large commercial businesses. It is open to business owners and their employees and the topics will include: forgery, fraud, identification theft, homeless, panhandling, security and robbery prevention, gangs, drug awareness, auto thefts, alarms, tagging, hate crimes, the Crime Stoppers program, and Business Watch.

Registration is required.  Those interested in attending the class must complete the registration form and submit a $10.00 non-refundable registration fee along with the form.  The registration form can be obtained by contacting CSO Barbara Caldwell at the number listed below.  The registration form and fee can be sent to the Modesto Police Department (Attention CSO Barbara Caldwell), 3705 Oakdale Road, Modesto, CA 95357.  Checks may be made payable to the “City of Modesto”.  The deadline to enroll is October 30, 2009 (No exceptions).
