BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT SOUGHT
At about 4:55 pm on Tuesday police were dispatched to the Guaranty Bank at 901 North Carpenter Road (inside the Cost-Less grocery store) to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. Detectives believe suspect approached the bank teller and made demands for money. The robber fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his early 20’s, 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses, and a black long-sleeved shirt over a gray colored t-shirt. He was last seen fleeing the bank on foot. The suspect was not located after a lengthy search of the area.
Detectives have released several digital surveillance photographs of the suspect at the time of the robbery.
