Season's First Significant Storm Hits Modesto

Important information for storm-related issues

As of 4 p.m. the City of Modesto has received hundreds of storm-related calls.  Several City departments are working in tandem to respond to calls reporting downed trees and tree limbs, prioritizing the calls with emergencies being responded to first.  Forestry crews started the day responding to calls and as the frequency grew, so did the City’s response.  The City now has crews working on downed trees from Forestry, Streets, Fleet and Fire in order to respond promptly to urgent calls.
