City of Modesto, California News Release

H Street will be closed to traffic from Scenic Drive to 17^th Street beginning September 14^th, extending to mid-October.  Cross traffic from 17^th, 18^th, 19^th and Burney Streets will allow access through the intersections of H Street. Traffic controls will be in place for the duration of the project but motorists may experience delays.  Portions of the construction will take place at night to help traffic flow during commute times.  Several detours will be available and fluctuate as construction progresses.  Motorists who normally travel on Scenic Drive or La Loma Avenue into downtown Modesto are asked to please use alternate routes during construction.
