INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The City of Modesto's internship program is designed to give
students an inside look at the City of Modesto's employment
opportunities and enhance educational goals. City internships
vary within each City department. Students must be enrolled in
high school or an accredited college or university working
towards a degree.
The City of Modesto offers
paid and volunteer internships. Each position is unique to the
department and pay is predetermined. Paid internships are
limited to a maximum of 1,000 hours in a fiscal and/or
calendar year. The following departments currently utilize
internships:

Interested students can submit a completed City of Modesto employment
application form and
supplemental questionnaire to the
Personnel Department located at 1010 10th Street, 2nd Floor,
Suite 2200, Modesto; or by mail to P.O. Box 642, Modesto, CA
95353. Applications will be kept on file for one year.
