MARY E. GROGAN COMMUNITY PARK MASTER PLAN UPDATE

Location: Corner of Litt Road and Sylvan Avenue in Village One, adjacent to James C. Enochs High School.

Proposed Improvements: Street improvements along Litt Road and Sylvan Avenue, walkways, landscaping, irrigation, underground utilities, seven lighted soccer fields, one recreational softball field, restroom/concession building, picnic areas, children’s play areas, off-street parking, area lighting, community center, aquatics center and police and fire services center. The master plan and the design development report are under revision to add the 24-hour public safety components.

Construction: The design update began December 2007 with approval of the final design and master plan update scheduled for late 2008.
