Landscape Permits

The Parks Planning and Development Services Landscape Plan Review section includes information and forms to help you submit Landscape and Irrigation Plans that conform to the City of Modesto’s Municipal Codes.

The City of Modesto uses the "One Stop Shop Process" for submitting development, landscape and irrigation plans. Complete sets of building plans are to be submitted to the Development Center for review. Please include three (3) sets of landscape and irrigation plans, along with all other necessary items, when submitting building plans. No plans will be accepted for review in the Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department. For further information, go to the Development Center page.

Any re-submittals for landscape and irrigation plans will be handled directly through the Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department until the plans are approved. At that time, the approved landscape and irrigation plans will be returned to the Building Department for inclusion in the final permit package.
