The
responsibility of the Building and Parking Services Division is to
provide building maintenance and custodial functions for the 64
city-owned facilities and to provide service to three parking
garages and three surface lots. This division is responsible for
planning and administering the long-range infrastructure needs of
these facilities.The division is responsible for the
continuous preventative maintenance, housekeeping and everyday
upkeep of the many facilities that the Parks, Recreation and
Neighborhoods Department owns, such as The Boy Scout Clubhouse
located in Enslen Park, the American Legion Hall, King-Kennedy
Memorial Center and the McHenry Mansion.
The Division also manages the six houses that the
department
owns that are located on, in and near Modesto's parks.
