Adult Fastball and Softball
City of Modesto fastball* and slow-pitch softball
leagues span an eight month period of time, usually
beginning in mid-March. Men’s fastball leagues and
men’s, women’s, coed competitive and coed recreational
softball leagues are available. Eight-game leagues are
offered in the spring, summer and fall. Games are played
Sunday through Friday evenings at Beyer, Davis and Beard
Brook Parks.
*Fastball is a modified form of baseball played on a softball field.

Tennis Tournaments
The City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and
Neighborhoods Department sponsors four tennis
tournaments beginning in late May and ending in early
October. Brochures
for each tournament, which include a registration form,
will be added as they become available. Print the
brochure and follow the directions to register for each
tournament.
