Second Chance Week is a national public awareness
campaign held each October to promote the reuse of old
items through Reuse, Repair, Resale and Donation.
This year the City of Modesto will collect "gently used"
blankets. Donated items will be disbursed to local
agencies to help prepare families and individuals in
need for the cold winter months.
Please consider giving your "gently used" blankets a
second chance by donating them during this special
collection event. Collection bins will be
available at the following locations throughout Second
Chance Week.
