Leaves are only picked-up the month of December. As such, no large yard trimmings are collected
as part of the green waste program in
December. Leaf collection only occurs on the streets, there is no alley pick-up. It is important that
no other yard trimmings are mixed in with the leaves as the collection crews will not pick-up piles with
sticks and/or large limbs.
As with other small yard waste/trimmings, you should fill your green yard waste container with leaves first, and then pile
any excess
on the street for collection.
