What We Do
Parking Services operates three parking garages and five pay-by-space
lots within the City of Modesto. We provide monthly parking permits that can be
purchased by contacting the City of Modesto Finance Department. The Parking Services
Division has recently implemented an automated revenue collection system in the parking
garages. Exiting the garage is now quicker due to the new system that allows you to pre-pay
prior to returning to your vehicle. Click for directions on how to use the parking garage pay

- Parking lots are located at:
- Corner of 9th Street & I Street
- 9th Street between I Street and J Street
- Corner of 10th Street and H Street
- Centre Plaza parking lot located on 11th Street between K Street and L Street
- Transportation Center parking lot located on 9th Street near K Street
- Where are the City owned Garages located?
- Ninth Street Garage is located on 9th Street between L and K Streets with entrances on 9th Street, L Street & K Street.
- Tenth Street Garage is located at the corner of 11th Street and K Street with entrances on both 11th Street and K Street.
- Eleventh Street Garage is located on 11th Street between J Street and I Street it has one entrance and exit located on 11th Street.
- Can I buy a Pass for the parking garages?
- Yes you can purchase a monthly pass for the 11th St. Parking Garage or for our Pay-by-Space lots located at 10th & H St., 9th & I St., 9th St. between J & I St. or the Transportation lot located at 9th and K St. To Purchase your pass go the Finance office located on the second floor of Tenth Street Place.
- Can I pay at the garage exits?
- It is best to pay on foot before returning to your vehicle. There are Pay Stations near the elevator on the first floor of each garage. If you find yourself in the exit lane and have not already paid you can pay but with a credit card only.
