The Streets Division maintains the City’s streets, alleys, and sidewalks
in such a way that they can be safely and efficiently used by Modesto
citizens and visitors alike by filling potholes, performing street sweeping,
removing graffiti, repairing curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, and other street
maintenance tasks. The Division is responsible for the maintenance of 109
miles of alley ways and 578 miles of streets.
The Traffic Services Division has moved to the Community and Economic
Development Department in order to serve you better. For information
