Mission
Day and night we are responsible for providing a high level of
maintenance to the storm and sewer systems, ensuring quick response to
emergencies, continually safeguarding the community's health and safety, and
helping protect the environment. We strive to use our skills and our
organizations' resources efficiently, and to treat our citizens and co-workers
with dignity and respect.About the Division
The Wastewater Collection Division includes 38 full-time
employees, 496 miles of sewer lines, 77 miles of positive storm lines, over
10,000 rockwells and 56 sewer/storm lift stations. In addition, this group is
often the city's first responders during winter storms.
