Dispute Parking Citation

Important Note

If you would like to dispute your parking citation, please do not pay the citation or you will lose your option to request an Informal Review. The completed Request for Informal Review must be submitted within 21 calendar days from the date the citation was issued.  

To Dispute a Parking Violation

You must submit your appeal using one of the below methods within 21 calendar days of receiving your citation.  All appeal results will be mailed to the address you have provided in your appeal request.  

Dispute Online 

One of the simplest ways to dispute your citation is by using our online portal. In order to submit an appeal to contest your citation online, follow the instructions below. 

  1. Visit the Parking Citations portal to submit an Informal Review Form Online within 21 calendar days of the issuance of your citation 
  2. Create your account with a valid email address and password
  3. Enter your Citation number and click the "Search Citations" button
  4. Choose the Appeal option and follow the instructions to submit your appeal online

In Person, by Fax or Mail

To receive an Informal Review Form, please contact our office by calling 209-571-5140. The form must be completed within 21 calendar days of issuance of the parking citation.
