Teaching Seniors Technology

We are not accepting volunteers at this time. 

We are overwhelmed with the support from our community and have reached our maximum number of volunteers.  Please check back with us in a few weeks or we encourage you to volunteer with one of our many other opportunities. 

Teaching Seniors Technology Program is a free program offered to seniors in our community. The program will be from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM every Wednesday and is held at the Modesto Senior Citizens Center. Volunteers will be paired one-on-one with a senior for either a 30 minute or 1 hour tutoring session.

Technology Devices  Include: 

  • Flip phone/smart phone 
  • Laptops 
  • Saving Documents to a thumb drive 
  • Sending a text message 
  • Tablets 
  • Web Searching (finding things on the internet)

Be a Volunteer

We are searching for volunteers to assist participants with their devices on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Volunteers will be paired one-on-one with a senior. To register as a volunteer complete the online application below.
