Responsibilities
Section 1604, of the City Charter states the Council shall cause this Charter to be reviewed at least every ten (10) years. The function of the committee is to review Modesto’s City Charter, to ensure it provides the best organization, powers, and functions and essential procedures for the best possible City government.
