The City of Modesto swim lesson program has been modified to allow for social distancing and increased health and safety practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please review this information carefully to see the modifications we have made to help keep everyone safe.
Modified Swim Lessons
Masks are required for all participants over the age of 2 inside the aquatic’s facility (no masks are to be worn inside the pool.)
To reduce the amount of people on the pool deck during lessons, only one adult per swimmer will be allowed in the facility during swim lessons.
One adult must accompany each child in the water for all SWiM lessons. Please arrive 10 minutes before your lesson to allow for check-in.
Please come dressed, ready to swim.
Upon completion of swimming, individuals should proceed directly to their car and drive out of the immediate area to avoid congregation in the parking lot.
Facility is active use only. No lounging or loitering on deck.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, please stay home and refrain from use of public facilities.
Modified Facility Operations
Reduced classes at each facility.
All doors will be propped open to eliminate ‘touch points’ throughout the facilities.
Increased time between lessons to allow for sanitation.
Staff are disinfecting high-contact points throughout the day.
