License Changes

Change of Ownership 

Business licenses are not transferable. A new license application, license fee and deposit (if applicable) are required for any change of ownership. The original license must be closed and gross receipts for the final quarter filed.

Closing a Business 

To close your license, a final Declaration of Gross Receipts form needs to be filed, reporting your final date of business, and all taxes and license fees paid.  If your account is in good standings, you may pay your taxes using our online portal.

Mailing Address Changes 

Notify the Business Licensing Division in writing or by phone of any change in the mailing address.

Location Changes 

A $5 fee is required for all businesses that relocate.  You must fill out the online form below or Information Change Form (PDF) and bring it to our office to complete your location change. Your business must be re-approved by Zoning and/or Fire.  

Name Changes 

Notify the Business Licensing Division in writing of a business name change. There is a $1 fee. A new business license application may be required.  You must fill out the online form below or Information Change Form (PDF) and bring it to our office to complete your name change.
