GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
The Write-In Candidacy Period is Monday, September 12, 2022 through Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Interested persons should contact the City Clerk at (209) 577-5396 as early as possible to schedule an appointment to obtain and file papers and qualify to be a write-in candidate.
Write-in votes will be counted and certified only for qualified write-in candidates who file the required forms with the Elections Official no later than 14 days prior to Election Day. (Election Code Section 8600-8606.)
