About the Park

Marked by generations of local history and a concentrated effort to blend outdoor recreation with habitat restoration the Tuolumne River Regional Park (TRRP) consists of more than 500 acres of river park frontage traversing through the City of Modesto along the Tuolumne River. The river parkway spans nearly seven miles from Mitchell Road on the eastern edge to just past Carpenter Road on the western end. 

Parkway Service Areas

The Tuolumne River Regional Park (TRRP) is comprised of six service area zones: 

  1. Airport Area 
  2. Legion Park Area
  3. Gallo/Mancini Park Area
  4. Gateway Park Area
  5. Dryden Golf Course Area
  6. Carpenter Road Area

This is an exciting time for the TRRP as planning teams are preparing to begin construction on several new regional park amenities which are certain to attract thousands of visitors annually and boost economic activity for the local economy.

The Tuolumne River Regional Park is managed by the TRRP Joint Powers Authority comprised of the City of Modesto, County of Stanislaus, and City of Ceres.
