Junior Giants 2022 Season

Registration for the 2022 Junior Giants Baseball Season will open on April 4, 2022.  Registration is first come, first serve and space is limited.

Registration will be online only at gojrgiants.org

League Details 

Modesto Junior Giants is traditionally an 8-week season, with 2 weeks of practice only and 6 weeks of one game, & one practice per week.  Modesto Junior Giants is non-competitive. 

Volunteers are Needed! 

100% of our Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Parents are volunteering their time. 

Volunteers must be:

  • At least 18 years old 
  • Must complete and pass a background  check
  • Able to commit to the full 8 week season

About Modesto Junior Giants

Junior Giants is a completely free, eight-week, non-competitive baseball league for boys and girls entering grades K-8. The program focuses on the fundamentals of baseball as well as leadership, teamwork, confidence and integrity.

Player Age Divisions

  • T-ball is for players 5 to 6 years old 
  • Minors is for players 7 to 9 years old 
  • Majors is for players 10 to 13 years old

Program Information

On June 21, 2013 SF Giants pitcher, Jeremy Affeldt joined the Jr. Giants and the City of Modesto to dedicate the Jeremy Affeldt Junior Giants field, a newly renovated baseball field at Enslen Park in Modesto. Thanks to the Giants Community Fund, the Good Tidings Foundation, and the City of Modesto, this ball field has been completely refurbished through the Peter A. Magaowan Field For Kids Program.
