The City of Modesto's Solid Waste Division in partnership with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and bye bye mattress of the Mattress Recycling Council are hosting an event to dispose of bulky items including mattresses, furniture, appliances, tires, televisions, computers and other electronic waste.
The following items will be accepted:
- Household Bulky Items (limit four per vehicle)
- mattresses, couches, chairs, tables, furniture, outdoor or patio furniture, and similar items
- Tires (limit nine per vehicle)
- tires from cars, trucks, or motorcycles (no tractor or commercial truck tires) with or without rims accepted
- Appliances (limit two per vehicle)
- refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, clothes washers and dryers, microwaves, and similar items
- E-waste
- computers, monitors, televisions, printers, electronics, and similar items
NOTE: Modesto Households and Apartments only - No Businesses
