The City of Modesto is updating its Non-Motorized Transportation Master Plan and wants to hear your thoughts on improving biking and walking access to schools, parks, transit centers, and all other local destinations around the city.
The Modesto Non-Motorized Master Plan aims to enhance the city’s goals of creating a more walkable and bikeable environment. This plan will help shape the future of Modesto’s transportation network and will ensure that the needs of pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users are met. The plan update is focused on seamlessly connecting people to their destinations, providing driving alternatives that are both healthy and good for the environment, and creating a network that all pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users can safely utilize. The plan will replace the previously adopted 2006 Non-Motorized Master Plan and is expected to be completed in late 2019.
