The Modesto Spirit of Giving 5K Run benefits many under-privileged residents in the Modesto area. The Spirit of Giving 5k Run will also be hosting a canned food drive. All donations will be given to the Modesto Gospel Mission to feed the hungry this holiday season. Canned or non-perishable food items can be dropped off at one of the following bins: 4th Floor of City Hall in the Parks Department, the Modesto Senior Citizens Center, or the Maddux Youth Center. Donations accepted until December 13th.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Modesto Senior Center Flagpole Dedication Ceremony on November 21st. We are thrilled we were able to make this meaningful addition to our community center. This was a collaborative effort with the Modesto Garden Club, American Volunteer Reserve Honor Guard and the City of Modesto.
