In the “spirit” of America Recycles Day, the City of Modesto’s Solid Waste Division is partnering with the Stanislaus County Department of Environmental Resources in hosting an America Recycles Day event on November 15, 2018 at the Historic State Theatre. We will be showing the award winning environmental film, Landfill Harmonic at no charge.  The film takes a look at trash as a valuable resource and offers alternatives for creating music out of trash.  Landfill Harmonic is a true testament to the human spirit and that anything is possible when you believe! In a world where we have become a disposable society, a film like Landfill Harmonic will make you believe in innovation and endless possibilities even in the most unlikely places.
