PROJECT:
Stanislaus Foods Road Closure
STATUS:
Closure began Tuesday, July 16, 2013 and extends through October 13, 2013.
IMPACT:
11th Street will be closed from D Street to Morton Boulevard. B Street will be closed from 10th Street to Morton Boulevard. Detours will be in place for alternate access. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through detour areas, and if possible find alternate routes.

PROJECT:
Sylvan Avenue and Litt Road Improvements
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for end of November 2013.
IMPACT:
SYLVAN AVENUE: Traffic controls with one narrow lane in each direction are in place along Sylvan Avenue from Millbrook Avenue to Claus Road. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible.
LITT ROAD: Litt Road south of Sylvan Avenue will reopen to traffic on September 25th. Litt Road north to the Mary Grogan Park entrance is open. Litt Road to Plainview Road will remain closed north of the park entry.

PROJECT:
Carpenter Road Bridge Seismic Retrofit
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for end of November 2013.
IMPACT:
Drivers should expect extended delays as one way flagging controls will be in effect until October 7th. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible. Oversized and Wide Load Vehicles should use alternate routes.

PROJECT:
Storm System Upgrade
STATUS:
Work will begin Monday, September 23rd and extend through October 21, 2013.
IMPACT:
Braden Avenue from Dale Road will be closed to through traffic for storm drain improvements. Detours will be in place for alternate access. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through detour areas and use alternate routes when possible.

PROJECT:
Gas Main Work by PG&E
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for mid-October 2013
IMPACT:
Dale Road from Bangs Avenue to Standiford Avenue and Sisk Road at Rumble Road will be restricted to single lane closures and shoulder work. Daytime work will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Nighttime work will be 7 days a week 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Drivers should expect to use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays. Safety Project by PG&E
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for mid-October 2013.
IMPACT:
McHenry Avenue from Claratina Avenue to Bangs Avenue is restricted to one lane traffic each way. Westbound Claratina Avenue east of McHenry Avenue will be closed intermittently. Nighttime work will be 7 days a week, 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and pay attention to signage. Drivers should expect to use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays. PROJECT:
CVIN Fiber Optic Underground Placement Project
STATUS:
Work is in progress in multiple areas. Project completion is expected the end of October 2013.
IMPACT:
AREA 1: Southbound College Avenue from Orangeburg Avenue to Needham Avenue and westbound Needham Avenue from McHenry Avenue to College Avenue.
AREA 2: H Street from 18th Street to 11th Street and 11th Street from Needham Avenue to H Street.
AREA 3: La Loma Avenue from James Street to Miller Avenue.
AREA 4: Eastbound Orangeburg Avenue from College Avenue to Martin Road. Traffic will be restricted to one lane traffic and shoulder work. Work will be Monday
Through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, and night work beginning at 8:30 p.m to 5:00 a.m. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and pay attention to signage. Drivers should expect to use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays.

PROJECT:
Oakdale Road Pavement Rehabilitation
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for end of November 2013.
IMPACT:
Lane closures will be in place for northbound and southbound traffic on Oakdale Road from Briggsmore Avenue to Floyd Avenue. Traffic control restrictions will be in place from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and pay attention to signage. Drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible.

PROJECT:
Tree Trimming along Claus Road
STATUS:
Work is in progress. Work is expected to be complete by mid-October 2013.
IMPACT:
Traffic control for single lane closures and shoulder work for northbound and southbound traffic will be in place along Claus Road from Scenic Drive to Yosemite Boulevard.

N Street Asphalt Overlay
STATUS:
Work will begin Monday, September 30th. Work is expected to be complete by October 10th.
IMPACT:
N Street between 9th Street and 11th Street will be closed to traffic. Detours will be in place for alternate access. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the detour areas and use alternate routes when possible.
