The first concrete boat launch within the City of Modesto, the Neece Drive Boat Launch is the perfect location to launch your canoe, kayak, raft, or small watercraft for a fun day of recreation on the Tuolumne River. The Neece Drive Boat Launch is open daily, excluding temporary closure days during high river water flows.

Neece Drive Boat Launch Amenities and Information:

  • Vehicle and boat trailer parking lot available from dawn to dusk (parking space is limited)
  • Parking lot is closed from dusk to dawn (gate locked overnight)
  • No lifeguard on duty
  • Swim at your own risk
  • No life jackets provided (at this time)
  • Recreation trailhead and river park information kiosk
  • Family picnic areas coming soon
