AMTRAK STATION REOPENS

On October 5, 2020, the Amtrak San Joaquins station will reopen its lobby from 7:45am-4:45pm, allowing passengers to buy tickets in person, check bags, and await their connections indoors. In addition, Amtrak San Joaquins has instituted a number of health and safety measures in order to ensure safe and healthy travel.

NEW ROBOT DELIVERY SERVICE

Small, six-wheeled delivery robots from Starship Technologies have roamed City sidewalks in past weeks, mapping out neighborhoods to learn the best delivery routes. These robots will offer contactless grocery delivery services to Modesto Save Mart shoppers, in the first program of its kind in California.

CELEBRATING MODESTO'S 150TH ANNIVERSARY

In honor of Modesto's 150th Anniversary this month we are celebrating our culture. Each month we have been celebrating various themes throughout our community from our history, location, parks & outdoors, agriculture & industry and now our culture.
