The campaign, created in response to illegal dumping and blight, focuses on revitalizing community engagement, urging individuals to unite in making our city more beautiful together. It emphasizes community empowerment and collective action as the keys to creating a cleaner, safer, and Mo’Beautiful Modesto.

What is Blight?

Blight is defined as anything that makes a location appear unsightly, out of order, rundown, or neglected. Such as trash, debris, and other items that have been discarded and/or improperly placed – along roadsides, waterways, and other areas that are uncontained.
