About the Workshop
The first community workshop for the Southwest Modesto Plan is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, 6-8pm at the King-Kennedy Memorial Center (601 Martin Luther King Drive, Modesto). Refreshments, Spanish language interpretation, and childcare will be provided.
The workshop will focus on project introduction, followed by engaging community members in identifying community assets and envisioning desired outcomes.
The project team is working on hosting future community workshops at either of the following locations: Shackelford Elementary, Modesto High School, or Self-Help Federal Credit Union.
