Scenic Drive Pavement Rehabilitation Phase 2 

Project Status

Expected to be completed by October 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closure, expect delays between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

• Scenic Drive from Bodem Street to Oakdale Road reducing traffic to one lane either direction. 
• Lane closures on Kansas Avenue from North Carpenter Road to Morse Road. 
• Traffic control in place within the Modesto Verde Estates on Hacienda Lane, Celebrity Lane, Festival Lane, and Holiday Lane. 
• Bodem Street will be closed to through traffic between Scenic Drive and Downey Avenue 
  Detour will be in place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Lane closure on Sheldon Drive between Pembroke Drive and Jasper Avenue 
• Lane closure on Robertson Road between Marlow Street and Hammond Street
• Lane closure on Encina Avenue from Covena Avenue to Santa Barbara Avenue 
• Lane closures at Stockard Coffee Elementary, Palmwood Avenue (East), Beyer Park Drive (West), Sylvan Meadows Drive (South), and Mable Avenue (North)
• Lane closures at Agnes Baptist Elementary, Cheyenne Way (North), Choctaw Way (South), 

  Carver Road (East), and Shanee Drive (West).

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Well Treatment and Flushline

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of January 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control in place, flaggers, lane, and sidewalk closures as needed.

Woodland Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of January 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.

• on the corner of Woodland Avenue & Poust Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Bret Harte Neighborhood Strengthen and Replace 

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of August 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Partial road closure to through traffic; open to residents. 

• Glenn Avenue between Crows Landing Road and Dallas Street 
• Seattle Street between Glenn Avenue and Butte Avenue 

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Downtown Signal Coordination G Street and H Street  

Project Status

Expected to be completed by November 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closures, lane shifts, detours, and flaggers on site.

• Scenic Drive from Bodem Street to 18th Street
• 10th Street through 17th Street in between the G Street and H Street blocks. 

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Tivoli Subdivision

Status

Expected to be completed by August 2025. 

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will be in place.

• Westbound lane closure on Sylvan Avenue from Roselle Avenue to Aria Way

Coffee Road Strengthen and Replace   

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of December 2025.
