[ARCHIVED] Stanislaus County Nonprofit Survey

Good afternoon Stanislaus Nonprofit Directors,

It has been a rollercoaster 5 months since COVID-19 began. Thank you for all you’re doing to lead your organizations and keep our communities safe and healthy. Our nonprofit partners have stepped up in so many ways since mid-March, and we are grateful to you.

We created a survey in the first month of COVID that informed local philanthropic and government partners on how to prioritize funding to assist local nonprofit organizations working to respond to this public health crisis. Since that time, both philanthropic and public funders have been communicating regularly to ensure that nonprofit needs – and the needs of clients you serve – are being met. Stanislaus Community Foundation and the United Way have also partnered to provide webinars and one-on-one counselling to interested nonprofits.

We know A LOT has changed for you since the first survey we issued. In order to make sure that we understand and can adapt to changing community needs, we ask our Stanislaus County nonprofit leaders to fill out our UPDATED SURVEY TOOL. The information you provide will help guide requests for funding and technical assistance, as well as advocacy for our sector as part of the reopening process. We will also create a second report based on the new survey data, to inform individual donors and others regarding nonprofit needs.

We request that you please complete this survey by September 15.

Thank you again for all that you’re doing!

Warmly,

Marian Kaanon
