[ARCHIVED] Weekly Traffic Impact Report Week of March 5, 2026

Various Locations   

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of April 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closure, expect delays between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

  • Scenic Drive from Bodem Street to Oakdale Road reducing traffic to one lane either direction.
  • 11th Street between I Street and J Street  

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

9th Street Corridor Improvement

Project Status

Expected to be completed by December 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closure, expect delays between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

  • 9th Street from Carpenter Road to L Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

City Crews Tree Trimming

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of March 2026

Traffic Impacts

Intermittent lane closures in each direction.

  • G Street between 11 Street and Burney Street
  • H Street between 11 Street and La Loma Avenue

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

City Crews Paving

Project Status

Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13, 2026

Traffic Impacts

Expect delays in the area.

  • South Carpenter Road between the bridge deck and Robertson Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Woodland Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of August 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.

  • on the corner of Woodland Avenue and Poust Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Sewer Trunk Rehabilitation on Grimes, Mercy, and Woodland Avenue 

Project Status

Expected to be completed by July 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will be in place, expect delays.

  • Grimes Avenue between Paradise Road and Maze Boulevard 
  • Coffee Road between East Fairmont Avenue and Scenic Drive
  • Elm Avenue and Rosemore Avenue extending to Grimes Avenue from Maze Boulevard to Paradise Road 
  • Paradise Road from South Carpenter Road to Grimes Avenue 

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

North County Corridor 

Traffic Impacts

Detours will be in place. 

  • Roselle Avenue will be closed between Claribel Road and Plainview Road reopens in October 2026
  • Terminal Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Townsend Avenue and Claribel Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Codoni Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by October 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.

  • Codoni Avenue between Leckron Road and Finch Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Well Treatment and Flushline

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of March 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control in place, flaggers, lane, and sidewalk closures as needed.

  • South Street in the community of Empire

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

River Trunk Pump Station 

Project Status

Expected to be completed by June 2029.

Traffic Impacts

Full closure to all traffic including emergency vehicles. Tuolumne Boulevard to reopen June 15, 2026.

  • Westbound Tuolumne Boulevard from 7th Street closed at Bridge
    Access to Northbound Highway 99 Only

  • Eastbound Tuolumne Boulevard from Roselawn Avenue detoured north at Madera Avenue
    No Access to Highway 99

  • Neece Drive Closed to Through Traffic from Tuolumne Boulevard to Fairway Drive
