Dear CSOC Members,
HUD has recently released its Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the 2017 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition. Stanislaus County is eligible to apply for over $3 million in funding through the CoC Program for housing and services for people experiencing homelessness.
We invite you to join us for Stanislaus County's CoC NOFA Kickoff on Tuesday, August 1, from 10:00am - 12:00pm, exact location in Modesto to be announced. This meeting is mandatory for agencies that plan to apply for FY 2017 CoC funding and will provide an overview of the local process and instructions for the required application materials.
New agencies that have not previously received CoC funding are encouraged to apply! Prospective applicants should contact City of Modesto, the local Collaborative Applicant running the local competition and federal application process, as early as possible to learn more about creating and producing a winning application. Eligible entities include nonprofits and local government agencies with capacity and interest in applying for funds to develop new programs to serve people experiencing homelessness in Stanislaus County.
For more information, please contact: Afarnon@modestogov.com or Stanislaus@homebaseccc.org and see additional resources below.
Thank you,
Aaron Farnon Housing and Urban Development Supervisor Community Development Division City of Modesto 209.577.5328 afarnon@modestogov.com
