[ARCHIVED] Modesto Police Move Quickly to Locate and Arrest Kidnapping Supsect

Modesto, CA –On Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at
approximately 4 o’clock in the afternoon, a fourteen-year-old female reportedthat a man approached her in a vehicle as she walked along Tokay Avenue.  
She indicated the man attempted to grab her and
she was able to break free and run away.
 The victim described the suspect as being an Indian male and she gave a
good vehicle description.

 

Officerswere immediately dispatched and were able to locate the suspect and his vehicle
in a nearby shopping center parking lot. 
The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Sandeep Singh of Ceres.  Singh was arrested for kidnapping and booked
at the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
