Create an Account

1. Visit the Camera Registration portal, 
2. Click on Register on the top of the page
3. Fill in the fields on the Sign Up page and click submit.

Register for Program

1. Log into the system with the username and password you created.
2. Once logged in, select the “Register New Camera” to add a new camera registration. 

For additional instructions to create a new camera registration, refer to the help file by clicking on the question icon.

Registration is voluntary and there is no cost associated with registration.

Registering your information does not provide MPD with direct access to your camera.

1. To delete a camera registration, log into the portal.
2. Locate and select the trash can icon for the camera registration to delete.
3. Answer Yes to the prompt.

You may delete your registration at any time.

An individual’s personal information will be kept confidential by the City unless subject to disclosure by court order.

Your information will be accessed by law enforcement personnel who are investigating a crime in the vicinity of where your camera is located.

You will only be contacted by the Modesto Police Department in the future if there is a criminal incident in the vicinity of your security camera. 

Police personnel, if necessary, may request a copy of any video captured by your camera, which may assist in the investigation of a crime.
